O’Connell says that his goal at Veranda is to give guests “a food memory that could last a lifetime.”
The new hotspot has earned attention from BlackBook, Us Weekly and NBC New York. New York magazine praises the “addictive bar snacks” as well as the entree selection, which “bursts with sweet and salty notes.” Night owls focused on dancing after dinner can retire to the adjoining lounge, where DJs spin until 3 a.m. on the weekends. As a bonus, a private room even offers hookahs and flavored water pipes.
