This three-story Ludlow Street lounge is inspired by history. Located inside a former Chinese doctor’s office, it takes its name from a World War II safe house, and features New American cuisine—with accents of flavors from Greece, Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Mexico and beyond—from Chef Jeff Kreisel.
The chic, retro-feeling dining room opens up to an outdoor patio that’s protected by an all-weather retractable roof, welcoming guests year-round with tasty cocktails and glittering views of the skyline and the Williamsburg Bridge. After-hours, the lights turn down as the music turns up; guests revel into the night as DJs spin danceable beats.
