At BLVD 16, each dish is uniquely crafted with a commitment to environmental sustainability and magnificent flavors. Dishes are piled high with fresh California ingredients—the rooftop garden supplies fresh herbs—and the wine list features organic and biodynamic selections.
Seasoned executive chef Richard Hodge held his first position at that title when he was just 23. He likes to keep it simple and selects ingredients that work together to create a unique flavor profile for each dish, like sea bass with artichoke tapenade, baby carrots and tomato petals or risotto with English peas, preserved lemon, stinging nettles and black pepper mascarpone.
