Complete with an exhibition sushi bar, the restaurant offers a culinary trip throughout the Far East, serving dishes like seafood and tofu in a clay pot, wok-seared filet and ginger lobster.
The decor strikes an alluring balance of opposites. One wall of the dining room is a 35-foot-long waterfall, while soft golden Japanese woods are highlighted by strong wrought-iron hanging lanterns. The chefs’ innovative presentation is on show in the signature Black Pearl nigiri and sashimi boat, a favorite on NECN’s “TV Diner” with Billy Costa.
